Fast Blog Finder Review

Thanks for coming back to read more web marketing related content. If you haven't already, be sure to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

This is the first product review I’ve done, but I felt this product was worthwhile enough for me to share my opinions on the matter. From time to time I am going to review products that I’ve found helpful. I’m going to include my affiliate link to those products, just to help offset costs for running the blog. Having said that, I will only write a review on a product I think highly of, and have tested myself.

This brings me to the Fast Blog Finder Review.

I came across this piece of software when I was looking into ways in which to gain links to my blog. In the blogging realm, blog commenting is a major source of traffic and backlinks. The only problem is that a lot of blog owners have their links listed as “nofollow”. This means that the links you receive from these sites will not count for your blog or website. The key is in finding “dofollow” links. This knocks out two birds with one stone. It drives traffic to your blog and also builds your backlink count.

This sounds great, but where do you find the blogs that are DoFollow? Not one to waste time, I went to work finding out the best way to track down these DoFollow blogs. That’s when I came across the Fast Blog Finder, sometimes called the G-Lock Blog Finder after the developing company’s name (G-Lock Software).

Here are some screen shots of the software in action:

The software allows you to quickly identify themed “dofollow” blogs that allow you to drive targeted traffic and build quality backlinks. The only negative thing I would say about the Fast Blog Finder is the amount of “unknown” types that it can return. Depending on the search query, you may get 200 blogs that are “nofollow” and 200 blogs that are “dofollow”, but then you may also get 150 more that are “unknown”. I typically do not bother with the unknowns, as I have more than enough dofollow blogs to deal with, but having a more definitive search results would be a little more helpful. My advice is not to mess with the “unknown” types, unless you just really like that person’s blog. I just follow the green highlighted blogs, as those are conveniently the dofollow blogs. The good news is, you can also set your preferences to just display “dofollow” results.

Another great feature of this software is the that it can filter out blogs that have not been posted in for a specific date range. So, for example, you can set the Fast Blog Finder to only return results for DoFollow Blogs that have been posted in the last 3 months. This is another very helpful feature.

Priced at just $49.99 it is well worth the investment for any marketer or webmaster whose looking to drive traffic and backlinks to their website. I personally own this piece of software and can definitely appreciate the idea behind it and the time it has saved me. If you’re interested in quickly finding related “dofollow” blogs, please visit the Fast Blog Finder website.

Nice review, I unfortunately would rather find blogs and comment to meet them for relationships. I don’t post enough but I have a good amount of followers, because I read their blogs and comment. Building networked relationships is more for me than backlinks.

And most of my bloggers will have Lucys Link Love, so after a certain number of comments your comments will become dofollow. To keep out the people commenting for links.

I found you at the RSS group at Blog Catalog. So far I like your blog. I will check out your SEO firm too, as I dabble in that a little.

Thanks for stopping by Jim. The Fast Blog Finder allows you to find blogs within your niche. You can follow them, leave comments on them, etc. They gather about every blog you can think of. It’s up to you to decide what you want to do with those blogs. You can choose to become apart of that community by becoming a regular visitor if you’d like. This is what I would always suggest anyways, the communities I become apart of though, I would prefer that they’re also dofollow.

Your post is indeed very informative. These days not only amateur webmasters are doing internet marketing but also young grad students are promoting their less professional sites as their practice and projects. Articles on starting an internet marketing business are available on the internet easily.

Great Post. I actually found this site using the free trial.

They are very smart for giving you the free trial because you will only get a handful of dofollows with the freebie.

I am going to buy the software based on this post.

Also, thanks for allowing dofollow posts on this blog.

This page has a PR 2. That is great for my new site!

I’m going to have to invest in this program. I believe the benefits will absolutely outweigh the small $50 price tag. Thanks for the info.

I’m not sure I agree with you, Justin. I mean, I love the *idea* of this software, and for 50 bucks I guess you can’t expect much, but it doesn’t seem to work for me as well as it did for you. I’m trying to find blogs on children’s furniture, and it pulls up 804 blogs, of which 67 are dofollow, 266 are nofollow, and 464 are unknowns. The dig deeper function of the software just locks up on me, so I can’t really get any more out of the unknowns, and at least half (probably more) of the dofollows it found for me are irrelevant! I get everything from heavy metal rocker blogs to php developers to missionaries in Haiti! Maybe it’s saving me time by coming up with a list to start with, but when most of them don’t apply anyway, I feel like I’m wasting my time going there and finding out that they have nothing to do with Children’s Furniture. Bummer.

The software has potential to be a HUGE time saver and a great tool, but I don’t think it’s there yet.

hey, what do you expect from $50 that could potentially make your thousands, since if you rank for your keywords on google and other search engines with the help of building qulity backlinks, your on top of the game here, it is worth far more then $50 dollars and i myself bought it and find it is great, getting over 1000 unique visitors a month for “my” keywords on google…

when you post a link on a site are they immediately live or do they have to be approved?

Seems like a waste if they have to be approved. I realize if you leave a nice comment that improves your chances but still…

You have to wait for it to be approved in most cases. Just a simple SPAM protection process. Not a waste at all if you have to wait…you’re still getting them.

I’ve been testing the free version for about a day, and I think it’s a good software. I’ve found several interesitng blogs, and I’ve left comments using the fbf. It works, no doubt about it.

The problem now, is that I can’t decide whether I should buy fbf or Blog Comment Demon. They both seem to have apx. the same features, and the price is about the same.

    Hi,

Thanks for a perfect review of this. I actually did a Google search on comparing Blog Comment demon Vs Fast Blog finder.

I was using the trial version off fast blog finder and found it extremely useful. We run an outsourcing service for backlinks here in India, so we require to dig into the full version.

Just a quick question, Im sure I will find out soon, though does this track when the comment has actually appeared. This would be great for us as we are doing it manually.

Loved you Idea about the trackbacks. I hope I do find some more information regarding that soon.

Thanks for your help. Much appreciated.

    Cheers,

Well, I was using a niche system before and its really time consuming. I hope this one isn’t. But I think G-lock is nice since it displays 3 kinds of blogs. Not only the do-follow blogs. Well, gotta try this one. But, is there any discount on that since I find it a little expensive.

I just recently started using Fast Blog Finder. They just released version 3.0 I beleive.

It really works well and does just want I need for finding the best blogs with DoFollow.

I also usually include the KeyWordLuv word in my search so I make sure that the links that I get are using my keywords.

In Fact I’m using Fast Blog Finder now which is how I found this blog to post on. :)

Of course I don’t beleive it’s under $50 anymore though, but it’s still well worth it.

Great review! I’ve been using Fast Blog Finder for quite some time as well now. It works fine. There aren’t many different do follow blogs in Holland, but when I put the search query to “EN” (i.e. search in English blogs), it finds lots of pages.

I’m wondering what the general consensus is about Blog Comment Demon. Is it any better?
