I prefer the top theme over the other two. Theme modification is on my short list: I can get WordPress blogs up and running, but I don’t (yet) have the skills to modify them significantly.

I did not actually realise that you could build an ecommerce website in WordPress. I am a fan of Joomla as it is so easy to update and keep track of what is going on in the site.

I personally like the second theme you handpicked. It has the easy to navigate sidebar menu and has a simple, yet elegant design. But I’m no webdesigner, so what do I know? But from a consumer perspective, I think the second one would be the most efficient one to navigate.

I’ve been looking for a good e-commerce WordPress theme but haven’t really found one that matches my wants. I’d like it to not look like it was built on a blog platform, and that seems to be the major challenge. I do have a decent e-commerce theme but it isn’t as attractive and modern looking as I’d like. If I had to choose one of the 3 themes above I’d probably go with the 1st one.

WordPress is just so versatile. It is possible to pimp it out to such an extent with the huge amount of custom themes that are available that it is virtually unrecognisable from the free basic offering that you can start off with at wordpress.org.

Are these examples free or premium WordPress themes, and has the code been validated, etc?

Hello Hillary, I’m not the one actually selling them. You can click the affiliate link in the actual post to have it take you to the page where they can be purchased!

Template #2 is my favorite, although I do not see how this relates to ecommerce. To me, this looks more like a restaurant’s website, especially a BBQ restaurant.

I love the first and third theme. The second not too much because of the too much wasted space on the sides. The third I think has the most potential of the three as even a newbie can easily edit it to be used on just about any niche.

I think that template 2 is more attractive and easier to use.It helps me a lot in my business. Of course previous version is very nice too. But the second was improved and became more comfortable for using.I got used to it very quickly, but I would be pleasantly surprised if another new version is going to appear soon. I think that would be perfect edition.

I think template three is too dark with not enough contract.

Template two is interesting and different than most eCommerce sites. It could confuse some users, but overall I like it.

Justin-Thanks for sharing and it’s amazing how helpful these WordPress templates can be. I myself am a huge fan of WordPress themes and thought template 2 was the best one. The great thing about the templates is that you can choose to sell drop shipping products or affiliate products…these themes would work great for both. Lastly, I noticed the Cardinal on your logo coffee mug-great to see the victory over Green Bay ;)
