Truly these are the five most irritants on web marketing but the number three which is the music and videos give some exemption. Music and Videos if done right could be a good medium in web marketing.

Don’t we all just hate those?And I agree, Pop-ups are the most annoying and yahoo just uploaded one in their Y!mail page, a big beer ad. Another crazy thing is, the rewritten/spun articles that you see in forums. They don’t make sense because it is just so badly spun and mostly keywords that are not even relevant to the website. We know SEO is important, you really got to look for quality over quantity to be successful on the web. NO ONE likes spam.

I really hate any website that using an exit pop-up – the first second it pops up, I don’t care what they’re offering me. There’s such a huge disconnect that I feel burned and want to flee the website.

I actually just read a post on another site a few minutes ago that reminded me of one of my pet peeves: a whole bunch of people who start sites think that just because they’ve started a site that business will start rolling in, and refuse to let anyone help them market or optimize. Gets to me every time!

At the top of my list are pop-ups and keyword stuffed articles. I don’t even read a pop up. I just close it immediately. What’s even more annoying are pop ups when you close the site and even asks twice. They never learn.
